General information

The Rocksports Birthday Party has become the 'best party I’ve ever had' to a generation of boys and girls of all ages throughout Brisbane. It's a great day out for the whole family.
Booking are essential! If you have a minimum of 8 climbers, you need to make a booking. The cost is $16.00 per climber (all ages) for up to 2.5 hours.

Age restrictions

At Rocksports any age can climb, though the person who operates the safety rope (the belayer) needs to be at least 13 years of age.
So if you have a group of young children, you will need to provide adults to belay. There is no charge for adults who do not climb.
A ratio of three climbers per adult works really well. This allows the kids to get a bit of a rest between climbs, and they really like to see how their friends go and encourage each other. You do NOT need one adult per child.

Waivers

Everyone who climbs and/or belays at Rocksports is required to sign a 'waiver of liability’. When you make a booking, we will provide you with these forms for distribution to all invited. They then bring their completed form to the party. For those under 18 years of age, this needs to be signed by a parent/guardian. Copies are available for download.

Catering Options

When you make a party booking, we will reserve your group a table(s) in our party area. We don't provide any catering, so this allows you to cater for the party within your own budget.
Alternatively, if you want to keep it simple, we do have a pizza deal available. It's a popular option for kids and a no fuss solution for busy parents. Pizzas cost from $8.50ea delivered. If you decide to go with the pizza option, this can be done when you arrive. Just fill out the order form and leave the rest to us.
